Louise runs the first half of a race at 5 miles per hour. Then she picks up her pace and runs the last half of the race at 10 miles per hour. What is her average speed on the course?

My answer is 10+5=15 divided by 2 is 7.5
her avarage is 7.5
because 10 +5 =15/2=7.5
Louise's average speed is 7.5 mph (miles per hour). First, I add 5 and 10 and I got 15. Next, I divided 15 by two and I got 7.5 mph.
